Baby shower

So on saturday I threw a baby shower for a girl I grew up with. It was my very first baby shower and I was sooooo nervous. Melissa helped me decorate thank goodness because I had so much stuff to do I would have never gotten around to it! I wish I would have taken pictures of the awesome decorations but my camera had dead batteries and it only allowed me to take two pictures! oh well...the decorations were awesome! I carved this watermelon and made a little fruit salad in it. (thanks sue for the fruit) Melissa made this amazing chocolate mousse cake that I heard the grandmother say was "off the heazy" whatever that means...lol...i'm gonna start saying that now. but it was really yummy! like I said I was very nervous and stressed out because I had never thrown a baby shower before but it sounds like evryone loved it! I heard a couple people say it was the best baby shower they ever went to. yay me! I did good. it was fun too, I really do enjoy throwing parties and watching everyone have a good time...still so bummed I did not get pics of the decorations, I am sure the girl I threw the shower for got a ton so i'll wait and see if she got any good ones I can snag.
